Korea donates 142 police motorbikes to Philippines

The Philippine National Police (PNP) today, September 26 officially received 142 units motorbikes donated by the Republic of Korea.

The turn over ceremony was held in Camp Crame, Quezon City attended by Korea National Police Agency (KNPA) Commissioner General Min Gab-ryong, PNP Police General Oscar Albayalde, Interior and Local Government Secretary Eduardo Año, and Republic of Korea Ambassador to Philippines Han Dong-man.

General Min turned over the ceremonial key to General Albayalde witnessed by Secretary Año and Ambassador Han.

“I feel really honored that the police and government of Republic of Korea contribute to the effort of the Philippine National Police to serve the Filipino people better,” General Min said.

“During the Korean war when the Republic of Korea was in danger, the Philippines fought together with us and shared blood with us to protect the freedom of my country. Koreans always remember this history in the past and are grateful for your sacrifices,” he added.
