Israel’s Elbit Systems assembling several Hermes 900 for delivery

Israeli company Elbit Systems posted in its social networking page several photos of Hermes 900 medium altitude long endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) being assembled in its facility on November 27. Elbit did not mention the recipient of Hermes 900s being assembled.

Under the Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Level 3 Acquisition Project through the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Modernization Program, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) is set to receive 1 complete system of Hermes 450 with 3 new UAVs and 3 complete systems of Hermes 900 with 3 UAVs each.

Several units of Hermes 450 and Hermes 900 were already delivered to PAF.
