Hotel Summit and Expo 2018 at WOFEX set August 1 to 4

On its 18th year, World Food Expo (WOFEX), the biggest food show in the country, is all set to happen from August 1 to 4 in two simultaneous venues: World Trade Center Manila and SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

WOFEX will feature The Hotel Summit and Expo on its second year bringing food & beverages (F&B) and hospitality industries stakeholders together.

The Hotel Summit and Expo 2018, at the SMX Convention Center, features some of the world’s leading hospitality brands and products as the country enjoys increasing and continuous development in the hospitality and tourism industry. According to Department of Tourism (DOT), 6.6 million foreign tourists arrived in 2017, an increase of 11% from 2016. Target arrivals this year is at 7.4 million.

All requirements of the hospitality industry will be present from back-of-the-house to front-of-the-house, reception to rooms, architecture to design, marketers to brand experts.

At the summit, topics like global trends and local perspective, government accreditation, marketing in digital channels, financing, reinventing F&B, and guest handling will be discussed with experienced resource speakers.

The 4-day event will also feature two important foodservice outlets available in majority of hospitality establishments: The Bar and The Cafe.

Along with Hotel Summit and Expo, WOFEX is also featuring The Philippine Culinary Cup, Foreign Pavilion, Kitchen Theater, Wofex University, and The Philippine Sustainable Gastronomy Congress.
