Fleet-Marine Ready Force commander calls on Fleet commander

Fleet-Marine Ready Force commander Brigadier General Armel S. Tolato PN(M) conducted a courtesy call on Philippine Fleet commander Rear Admiral Alberto B. Carlos PN on April 29 at the Headquarters Philippine Fleet Wardroom, Naval Base Heracleo Alano.

Brigadier General Tolato was accorded sideboys honor during the said visit.

“During his visit, both Commanders affirmed their organizations’ continuing cooperation in performing their Force Provider-Force Employer roles within the Philippine Navy,” the Philippine Fleet said.

“Both Commanders further reiterated their commitment in performing their mandate of supporting all government efforts, particularly in protecting Philippine national interests such as, but not limited to, addressing security threats, enforcing sovereign rights, and fulfilling international responsibilities,” it added.

The Fleet noted that “the said visit was conducted with strict adherence to health and safety protocols like observing physical distancing and mandatory wearing of face masks and face shields.”
