Filipino Marines use PHL assets to raid a beach together with US troops

Members of the Philippine Marine Corps under the 10th Marine Company participated in an amphibious exercise (AMPHIBEX) together with their counterparts under Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, US Marine Corps on May 9 at the Naval Education and Training Command in San Antonio, Zambales.

The Philippine Marines utilized two units of landing craft-utility (LCU) attached to Philippine Navy’s Tarlac-class landing platform dock BRP Davao del Sur (LD-602), while the US Marines utilized a number of their assault amphibious vehicles (AAV).

The activity was under Balikatan 2018.
