Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddy Locsin Jr. said that aside from spending for security and defense proportionate to threats, having nuclear weapons is also a deterrent against potential aggressors.
“We stand on our own; show likely aggressors: if we can’t beat you we’ll give you a bloody nose Del told me. Ditch nuke weapons ban. Nukes tell aggressors, “If we can’t protect our country you can’t protect your invading forces from radioactive death. All live free or all die”,” Secretary Locsin said in a Twitter post.
“We stand by our own guns by buying our own w[ith] a defense budget commensurate to the threats to our sovereignty,” he noted.
