The Philippines’ first eco-airport, Bohol Panglao Airport, also known as Philippines’ ‘Green Gateway to the World’, is set for inauguration November 27.
Japanese joint venture between Chiyoda Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation is the prime contractor for the said airport project. The joint venture announced that it bagged the project in March 2015.
The project is funded through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) official development assistance (ODA) loan.
