“Due to the swift response, about 135 adults, four children and three infants were safely disembarked at said port in Barangay Caticlan. All passengers were in good condition,” PCG said.

The PCG said investigation revealed that MV Super Shuttle Ferry 18 departed from Roxas, Mindoro around 3am on the same date with passengers and 7 rolling cargoes onboard.

“While underway to Caticlan Jetty Port, the vessel unfortunately encountered engine trouble,” PCG said.
