BRP Apolinario Mabini arrives after over 2 years of deployment

Philippine Navy Jacinto-class corvette BRP Apolinario Mabini (PS-36) has arrived from its over 2 years of deployment in the operational area.

In line with this, Philippine Fleet commander Rear Admiral Alberto B. Carlos visited BRP Apolinario Mabini today, May 15 at South Harbor, Manila.

The said visit was the Philippine Fleet commander’s welcome to BRP Apolinario Mabini.

“The Commander Philippine Fleet talked to the Officers and personnel about his guidance and assured the ship of the headquarters’ full support to the floating assets,” BRP Apolinario Mabini information office said.

“The troops were high morale after seeing the Head of the Fleet welcomed them home from long and tedious voyage from southeasternmost – to west – to northernmost islands of the country and now back to Manila awaiting for another mission,” it added.
