Baguio police receives 200 Galil Rifles

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan personnaly attended the turn over of new equipment to Baguio City Police Office attended by Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong on October 19.

Among the new equipment are 200 units of caliber 5.56 Galil Rifles with 72,000 rounds of ammunition, 100 pieces of Landlite glow in the dark flashlights, and one (1) Toyota vehicle.

“This was followed by the turn over of check amounting to Php 7,200,000.00 from Baguio City Government led by Honorable Benjamin Magalong to the Baguio City Police Office for the procurement of base and hand held radio for communications,” the PNP said.

“Furthermore, the PGen Cascolan also conferred awards to Baguio City Police Office personnel in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments,” PNP added.
