Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) together with Eton Properties Philippines, Inc. (EPPI) on January 18 launched the development of 35-hectare Parklinks. Ayala and Eton described the said mixed-use estate as the greenest urban estate.
Parklinks will be within Pasig and Quezon City accessible through C5, Amang Rodriguez Avenue and Ortigas Avenue.
Ayala Land and Eton will develop Parklinks in a 50-50 joint venture through ALI Eton Property Development Corporation. PHP53 billion will be invested in the next 10 years for Parklinks’ initial development.
Ayala Land said Parklinks “is thoughtfully master planned to maximize access to parks and open spaces, which would be a mere 5-minute walk for residents, office workers and the public from the mall, office and living spaces through a well-designed and managed walkway system.”
“With 50% of the 35 hectares devoted to open spaces, Parklinks will provide what is sorely missing along the busy C5 corridor – an abundance of open space,” ALI Senior Vice President and Strategic Landbank Management Group head Meean Dy.
Among the main features of Parklinks is a 3-hectare central park at the heart of the urban estate.
Ayala Land said a 110-meter long and 25-meter wide iconic bridge will link Quezon City and Pasig over the Marikina river.
