Army eyes Defense Industrial Complex for defense-related industries development

Philippine Army commanding general Lieutenant General Jose C. Faustino Jr. visited PEZA Director General Charito B. Plaza on March 16 at PEZA Auditorium, Macapagal Avenue, Pasay City.

During the meeting, a number of future endeavors were discussed including the program funding of AFP Modernization Program and the construction of the Defense Industrial Complex that will serve as the center for the development of defense-related industries in the country.

According to Philippine Army, PEZA excels in promoting investment and facilitating business operations.

“PEZA has also supported the Army towards its journey in achieving its 2028 vision of becoming a world-class organization as stated in the Army Transformation Roadmap,” it added.

“As such, the Philippine Army will continue to effectively work with you while guided by love and patriotism as core inspirations in our service – that is love for God, love for country, and most especially, love for our people,” Lieutenant General Faustino said.

“Asahan din po ninyo na sa walang sawa ninyong pagsuporta sa Hukbo ay patuloy din naming tutuparin ang mga programang nakapaloob sa Army Transformation Roadmap upang tuluyan na nating makamit ang ating mithiing maging isang world-class Army na maipagmamalaki ng lahat ng Pilipino,” he added.
