Armed Forces recruiting 5500 soldiers

The Armed Forces of the Philippine (AFP) is recruiting 5500 new soldiers this year to beef up its three services namely: Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, and Philippine Air Force against terrorism and other lawless elements.

“In line with efforts to beef up its forces in the ongoing campaign against terrorists and other lawless elements, the Armed Forces of the Philippines announced that it was recruiting 5,500 troops for this year,” AFP Civil Relations Service said.

Of the 5500 recruitment quota, 3500 will go to the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy and Philippine Air Force will get 1,000 each.
