Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief-of-Staff General Benjamin R. Madrigal Jr. today, September 18 visited Philippine Navy Headquarters to bid farewell.
General Madrigal is set to reach the mandatory age of retirement on September 28. The list of nominees for the next AFP chief is now with President Rodrigo Duterte.
At the Navy headquarters, Madrigal was welcomed by acting Flag Officer-in-Command Rear Admiral Allan Ferdinand V. Cusi and other Navy senior leaders.
“The Command rendered honors to CSAFP followed by Talk to Men with the officers, men, women and civilian employees of the Philippine Navy aboard Headquarters Philippine Navy,” the Navy said.
