Major General Juvymax R. Uy said the operation against CPP-NPA, FSMR was launched after President Rodrigo Duterte declared no ceasefire this holiday season.

According to military report, the operation resulted to the death of 3 NPA members, recovery of several high powered firearms, IEDs (Anti-Personnel Landmines), laptops, 2 sets generator, subversive documents and other war materials.

Clearing operations is also being conducted by troops in the area.

According to 6ID, villagers reported sightings of armed men proceeding to Mount Lumuton early this week from upland towns in South Cotabato province and Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat prompting military troops tp conduct focused military operations.
