Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Superintendent Vice Admiral Allan Ferdinand Cusi has reported the arrival of 350 cadet candidates of PMA Class 2024 at Fort General Gregorio H Del Pilar, Baguio City.
“By June 15, 2020, we will formally receive and start the formal military training of the PMA Class of 2024 with an Oath Taking as new members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and simple Reception Ceremony designed to test and gauge their basic physical strength prior the start of the trainings,” Vice Admiral Cusi said.
“This will also be the start of their regimented military life and their gradual transformation as professional and disciplined young military leaders,” he added.
He also made an assurance that the Academy will continue to adapt to this trying times while maintaining the highest standards of excellence and honor as we aim to educate, train, develop and inspire each cadet to become the best future officers and leaders with a heart and soul for the AFP and the motherland.
“In addition, the Academy continues to strive to ensure that every member of the Cadet Corp Armed Forces of the Philippines as well as the whole Team PMA is safe and healthy and remains to be COVID-19 free with the strict observance of public health safety and quarantine protocols,” he said.
