2 NPA members surrender aboard Philippine Navy vessel

Naval Forces Central through Naval Task Group 2 deployed at Joint Task Force Storm area of responsibility, together with 63rd Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army and Naval Intelligence Service Unit – Central successfully organized the peaceful surrender of two (2) members of the CPP-NPA-Terrorists (CNTs) aboard the Philippine Navy Vessel BRP Alfredo Peckson (PC372) on September 10, 2021.

The two (2) surrenderees yielded two (2) firearms (1-M16A1 & 1-M14) and three (3) magazines with 34 pieces of ammunitions. They were properly turned over to 63rd IB, PA for debriefing, processing of their E-CLIP, and other programs such as livelihood assistance.

This activity showcases the effectiveness of our campaign against the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG).

The combined efforts of the AFP and other Law Enforcement Agencies continuously help the communist terrorists return to the folds of the law in a peaceful manner. NAVAL FORCES CENTRAL
