The event is one of the highlight of the 23rd Founding Anniversary of Naval Forces Western Mindanao (NFWM).

Universal Canning Incorporated and Mega Global Incorporated vowed to support the Navy’s thrust in protecting the waters of Western Mindanao, NFWM said.

“Let us together put to heart our role in ensuring a secure and stable Western Mindanao that is conducive to sustained development,” said NFWM commander Rear Admiral Erick A. Kagaoan.

“Our partnership with the Navy Affiliated Reserve Units will bring peace and security in the maritime waters of Western Mindanao so that we will have progress and prosperity in the region,” said Vice Admiral Empedrad.
