150 Families recieve temporary shelters in Marawi

A total of 150 families were given temporary shelters in Marawi City, Task Force Bangon Marawi said on January 20.

Task Force Bangon Marawi is a government inter-agency task force group organized to facilitate the rehabilitation, recovery and reconstruction efforts in Marawi after the battle against terrorists.

Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) Chairperson Eduardo del Rosario is the head of Task Force Bangon Marawi.

“The first 150 families moved in today at areas 2 and 4 of the ‘Biyaya ng Pagbabago Temporary Shelters’ in Brgy. Sagonsongan, Marawi City,” Task Force Bangon Marawi said.

“Internally displaced persons who lived in the most affected area of the war-torn city were pre-selected based on the criteria set by the local government unit,” it added.
