PNP gets 45 new emergency medical service vehicles

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office donated 45 emergency medical service vehicles in different health care institutions including the PNP General Hospital.

Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III represented by Undersecretary Roger Tong-an was the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the event on October 17, at Camp Crame, Quezon City.

PCSO Chairperson Anselmo Simeon Pinili and PCSO General Manager Royina Garma led in the Ceremonial Turn Over of the vehicles.

The Philippine National Police represented by newly-installed Chief of Directorial Staff, Police Major General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar received a unit of Emergency Medical Service Vehicle/Advance Life Support System and about 55 million pesos for medical services.

In his message, PMGen Eleazar expressed his gratitude to PCSO for the additional mobility that will help in transporting PNP personnel between places of treatment and provide medical care to PNP personnel and other patients while engaged in police operations and activities, and for the donation that will help the PNP General Hospital in providing the best healthcare for the personnel and their dependents.
