PHL receives PPEs, medical supplies from UAE to Aid fight vs COVID-19

Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. is accompanied by Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III and Chief Implementer of the Government’s National Policy Against COVID-19 Secretary Carlito G. Galvez in receiving from UAE Ambassador to the Philippines H.E. Hamad Al-Zaabi the UAE Government’s donation of assorted personal protective equipment (PPEs) and medical supplies to support the Philippine Government’s fight against COVID-19.

The UAE Government donated a total of four metric tons of assorted PPEs (face masks, gloves, shoe covers) and three metric tons of medical supplies (sanitizers and wipes).

The three Cabinet officials were likewise accompanied by Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Brigido J. Dulay, Chief of Presidential Protocol and Presidential Assistant on Foreign Affairs Robert Eric A. Borje, and Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Leslie J. Baja. DFA.GOV.PH
