Philippine Navy contingent returns from Middle East

Top defense officials welcomed the sailors, marines and reservists on board BRP Ramon Alcaraz (PS16) and BRP Davao Del Sur (LD602) during a simple arrival ceremony held on 16 June 2020, at Pier 15 in South Harbor, Manila.

Secretary of National Defense Delfin Lorenzana, together with senior officers from the Philippine Navy and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, greeted and congratulated the members Naval Task Force (NTF) 82 when they returned from their five-month deployment in the Middle East and successful conduct of their humanitarian missions.

NTF 82 repatriated stranded overseas Filipinos safely during the ongoing COVID19 pandemic. Also on board the two Navy ships were boxes of face masks donated by Mr. Paul Dantes of LegalZoc Co.
