Philippine Air Force welcomes additional C-130H


The Philippine Air Force, with its Vice Commander, PAF, MGEN FLORANTE M AMANO PAF, welcomed to its fleet a C-130H aircraft in a simple Arrival Ceremony at the Base Operations, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on January 29, 2021.

The C-130H Nr 5125 is the first one (1) of the two (2) C-130H aircraft granted by the US Government through the Security Cooperation Assistance.


The aircraft will provide enhanced capability in terms of heavy airlift missions to support movement of troops and cargoes during Territorial Defense Security and Stability and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response Operations. 

Immediately upon its arrival, the PAF rendered a welcome water salute to the C-130H Nr 5125 as a customary tradition given to one aircraft as additional aircraft to the PAF aircraft fleet. DND.GOV.PH
