P61.2 million worth of shabu seized in Taguig

A man was nabbed on Monday evening during a buy-bust operation conducted by the elements of Station Drug Enforcement Unit, Taguig City Police Station led by PCPT SALVADOR T CAMACHO JR and DDEU, SPD under the supervision of PCOL CELSO M RODRIGUEZ, Chief of Police.

The suspect was identified as Gezel Wesley Oliveros y Villarin a.k.a “Boy”, 26years old, male, single, jobless, born on July 10, 1993 and presently residing at No. 20 Amihan Street, Brgy Ususan, Taguig City and also included in the Station Drugs Watchlist.

Recovered pieces of evidence are the following:

a) One (1) pack of plastic containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu (object of sale),
b) Eight (8) pcs packs of plastic containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu (object of possession) weighing more or less 9kgs with DDB value of (Php 61,200,000.00),
c) One (1) pc black weighing scale,
d) Two (2) pcs One Hundred Peso Bill (Ph 100.00) bill bearing serial number RA477522 and QS3725525(Buy-bust money)
e) One (1) pc of One Thousand Peso Bill with marking NBD at the upper right front of the peso bill including boodle money.
f) One (1) pc green eco bag, and
g) One (1) pc Black Touch screen cell phone.

The arrested suspect will be subjected for inquest proceeding before the office of the City Prosecutor and will be charged for violation of RA 9165. Likewise, the shabu will be turn over to SPD Crime Laboratory office for chemical analysis and the confiscated cellphone will be turn over to ACG for digital forensic examination.

Acting District Director, SPD, PCOL EMMANUEL B PERALTA commended the operatives for a job well done. He praised the strong leadership of the OIC, COP PCOL CELSO M RODRIGUEZ for making sure that no crisis can stop them in securing their area of responsibility against lawless elements.

This kind of illegal activity will never be tolerated and may this be a stern warning to all criminals that under the leadership of PCOL PERALTA the Southern Metro is not a place for them to do their business especially if it’s illegal.
