New Naval Air Wing commander installed

The Naval Air Wing held a Change of Command Ceremony at Suarez Hall, Naval Base Cavite, January 14 2020 as Captain Juario C Marayag passed on his duties and responsibilities to Captain Lued L Lincuna.

Prior to his command, Captain Lincuna was the Director of Naval Public Affairs Office from 09 January 2015 to 22 July 2019 and Deputy Director, JCTC AFPSUS.

The ceremony was presided by the Commander Philippine Fleet Rear Admiral Giovanni Carlo J Bacordo who gave emphasis on the significant contribution of Capt Marayag to the Philippine Navy’s accomplishments. Under his command, the Naval Air Wing was able to craft 3 Naval Aviation Manuals, 4 Naval Aviation SOP’s, the transfer of 5 Beech craft King Air C90 (TC90) from Japan through the Japan-Philippine Defense Cooperation and the acquisition of 2 Anti-Submarine Helicopters AW159 Wildcat.
