Navy delivers 890 national ID registration kits to Western Visayas

Navy vessel BRP Ivatan (LC298) skippered by Cdr Paul Anthony Yamamoto together with his officers and men, successfully completed her transport mission (Log run) of 890 PhilSys registration kits intended for provinces of Iloilo, Antique, Capiz, and Negros last November 23.

BRP Ivatan arrived at Culasi Port, Roxas City, Capiz, and unloaded 114 national ID registration kits for the province of Capiz last November 22. On November 23, LC298 docked marry and moored at Iloilo International Pier, Iloilo City wherein 395 PSA registration kits were unloaded intended for Iloilo and Antique provinces respectively. The same day, she arrived at BREDCO Port, Bacolod City, and delivered 381 PSA registration kits for the province of Negros.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines through the Philippine Navy in partnership with the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will continue to work hand-in-hand to provide much-needed logistical support in distributing national ID registration kits in the different provinces all over the country amidst ongoing pandemic.
