Armed Forces of the Philippines’ land assets and Black Hawk Transport Utility delivered almost 14,000 doses of vaccines to field units and military treatment facilities (MTF) under the Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) and Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM).

More than 10,000 doses of vaccines were transported via land from the vaccine storage facility in Marikina City to units under the NOLCOM area of responsibility, including 3,000 doses to the Philippine Military Academy. These vaccines are expected to arrive in Camp Aquino, Tarlac City at 5pm this day.

Earlier this morning, the SOLCOM received its vaccines delivered via two Black Hawk Transport Utility Helicopters of the Philippine Air Force. These air assets took off from Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City and dropped-off the vaccines at Camp Nakar, Lucena City.

Lieutenant General Antonio Parlade Jr personally received the almost 4,000 doses of vaccines that were delivered to SOLCOM headquarters this morning.

This recently acquired air asset ensures the fast and safe delivery of vaccines to SOLCOM. The delivered vaccines in turn will be delivered to MTFs in Quezon, Albay and Camarines Sur all under the area of responsibility of SOLCOM. ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES
