Commission on Appointments confirms promotion of 40 AFP Generals, Senior Officers

The Commission on Appointments (CA) on Wednesday approved the promotions of 40 Generals, Senior Officers and Flag Officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

The CA confirmed the ad interim appointments of Army Brigadier General Jose Augusto V Villalreal, BGen George L Banzon, BGen Danilo D Benavides, BGen Steve D Crespillo, and Navy Commodore Mac Raul B Racacho.

The commission also gave its consent to the nomination of Air Force Colonel Jeffrey M Vilela to the next higher rank of Brigadier General.

Also confirmed were the ad interim appointments 18 Army Colonels; two Navy Captains; 8 Air Force Colonels; one from the Medical Corps; one from Corps of Professors; one from Chaplain Service; one from Medical and Administrative Corps; and two from the Veterinary Corps.
