Coast Guard joins Oplan Cerberus in Bilibid

Approximately 300 personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) joined the massive greyhound operations, ‘Oplan: Cerberus’ at the Maximum Security Compound, New Bilibid Prison (NBP), Muntinlupa City on February 3.

In coordination with the Philippine National Police – Special Weapons and Tactics (PNP – SWAT), PNP – Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP – CIDG), Bureau of Corrections (BUCOR), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), the PCG raided the compound that led to the confiscation of several deadly weapons, portable stoves, electrical appliances, sexual enhancers, money, and other prohibited items.

Force multipliers from the PCG were composed of men and women from the PCG – National Headquarters, PCG District – National Capital Region (NCR), K9 Units, Explosive Ordnance Detection Personnel, Special Operations Group, Medical Team, and other support personnel. PHILIPPINE COAST GUARD
