Army receives additional equipment from AFPMBAI

The Philippine Army (PA) receives additional equipment from the Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association Incorporation (AFPMBAI) here today, Oct.7.

In a turn-over ceremony, Army Commanding General Lt. GeneralMacairog S. Alberto received from AFPMBAI President and CEO Retired Maj. Gen. Robert M. Arevalo eight vehicles and five window type air conditioning systems that will be used in the administrative and operational activities of the command.

Last September, AFPMBAI gave eight patrol cars and computers that are currently used in various offices and units of the PA. Other donations in the previous years also helped the Army in enhancing its shuttle vehicles, upgrading its office equipment, and uplifting the troops’ morale through AFPMBAI financial services.

“With the constant support of our stakeholders such as the AFPMBAI, the Philippine Army is certain to perform its mandate to sustain peace and development in our country and pursue the genuine transformation of our institution into becoming a world-class Army that is a source of national pride,” said Alberto.
