Army chief visits Army Reserve Command

The Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM) welcomed the visit of the Commanding General, Philippine Army today, September 1, 2020 at its headquarters in Camp Riego de Dios, Tanza, Cavite.

In a reception with ARESCOM Commander Maj. Gen. Peale Jon L. Bondoc, Lt. Gen. Cirilito E. Sobejana acknowledged the role of the command in the Army’s effort in eradicating threats in the community by administering the recruitment, training, and management of Army reservists who will provide support in socio-economic development, environmental protection, and disaster and rescue operations.

“Soldiers kill terrorists, but our partners in the civil society kills terrorism by providing the services required from them,” said Sobejana in his talk to troops.

“To the troops of ARESCOM, make the most of what you are now without expecting anything in return. What’s important is you feel fulfilled in serving the people and securing the land. There’s no other thing that will best describe our fulfillment but public service,” Sobejana added.
