AFP receives two buses from Victory Liner

The Armed Forces of the Philippines received two buses from the Victory Liner Incorporated led by Mr. Dominic Hernandez on April 7, 2020 in a ceremony at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

Accepting the donation on behalf of the AFP is Major General Edgardo De Leon the Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations, J7 and joined by Rear Admiral Alberto Carlos the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, J4 and the Commander of the General Headquarters and Headquarters Service Command, Brigadier General Rodolfo Lavadia Jr.

The refurbished buses are intended to be used in AFP operations to combat the spread of COVID-19, especially to transport medical and support personnel to and from the Emergency Quarantine Facilities at the Rizal Coliseum, Philippine International Convention Center, and World Trade Center. The donation was made possible through Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat of the Department of Tourism.
