AFP gets four coaster buses courtesy of AFPMBAI

The Armed Forces of the Philippines received four (4) units of coaster bus from the Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Inc. (AFPMBAI) on October 05, at the General Headquarters Canopy Area, Camp Aguinaldo.

AFP Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Gilbert I. Gapay received the donation from Major General Rizaldo B. Limoso PA (Ret), President and Chief Executive Officer of AFPMBAI.

A blessing ceremony was also facilitated by Brigadier General Raul S. Ciño, Chief Chaplain Service AFP after the Symbolic Turn-over of Key.

The donation was made to enhance transport capability of particular Unified Commands and AFP Wide Support and Separate Units in the performance of their respective missions.

The coaster buses were awarded to the Western Command, Eastern Mindanao Command, Western Mindanao Command, and the Philippine Military Academy.

AFPMBAI is a financial institution for uniformed personnel of the Philippines including their families. The said private institution has done numerous donations to aid the military in various missions even before.

On June 22, the AFP received P14.1 Million worth of vehicle donation from AFPMBAI to help in mobility and logistics. They have also awarded the military P26 Million worth of medical equipment which was distributed to various medical facilities of the AFP.

Your generosity is a proof that the Bayanihan spirit of the Filipinos is alive and it prevails in much needed instances.
