AFP Chief visits Army and Navy Headquarters

Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Felimon Santos Jr visits the headquarters of Philippine Army and Philippine Navy at Fort Andres Bonifacio, Taguig City and Naval Station Jose Andrada, Manila on July 28, 2020

General Santos was received in both headquarters with military honors led by its respective chiefs, Lieutenant General Gilbert Gapay, Commanding General of the Philippine Army and Vice Admiral Giovanni Carlo Bacordo, Flag Officer-in-Command of the Philippine Navy.

In his visit at the navy headquarters, the AFP Chief was awarded with an honorary Flag Rank Command Badge, while at the army headquarters he was awarded with a Combat Commander’s Kagitingan Badge, where he also graced the inauguration of Silid Andres Bonifacio also in the army headquarters.

The AFP Chief was briefed by the chiefs of the army and navy with their command’s accomplishments and updates. General Santos also took the opportunity to personally talk and bid his farewell to the men and women of the army and navy and ensured that their morale and welfare are well taken care of.
