While conducting clearing operation, troops of the Charlie Company, 7th Infantry Battalion recovered enemy cadavers at 9:20am on March 13, 2020.

The cadavers were recovered in their lair, that is now infiltrated by the military troops, in Barangay Salman, Ampatuan, Maguindanao.

“This is how heartless the terrorists are; they just leave their slain comrades behind,” said Col. Jose Narciso, commander of the 601st Infantry Brigade.

Also recovered in the area were one anti-personnel mine and enemies’ personal belongings.

Examinations will be conducted for the proper identification of said cadavers.

“The recoveries indicate substantial gains and weakening of the enemy’s manpower and capability,” said Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, commander of the Western Mindanao Command.

“Rest assured, we will continue with our focused operations to penetrate BIFF lairs and totally eradicate their remaining members, for the people of Central Mindanao to savor lasting peace and sustainable development,” Lt. Gen. Sobejana added. WESTERN MINDANAO COMMAND
