Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar announced the partial opening of the Plaza Dilao Ramp of Skyway Stage 3.

“To ease traffic congestion in Buendia, we are opening two lanes, one of the northbound and southbound section. The 3.7 km elevated highways expand from Buendia to Plaza Dilao,” Villar noted.

“A maximum speed of 40 kph will be maintained along the main viaduct. Moreover, 20 kph at the ramps will be implemented,” he added.

“Section 1 from Buendia Avenue, Makati City to Quirino Avenue in Nagtahan, Manila is now 83 percent completed, while Section 3 from Ramon Magsaysay Avenue to Balintawak is 81 percent completed,” said Secretary Villar.

Other sections according to Secretary Villar are also being fast-tracked to ensure the Skyway’s mainline from Buendia to Balintawak meets the target completion date by the first quarter of 2020.
